The project aim:  stimulating the city to look at itself and at its needs. Through the project, people should be aware of the problems and, also, set possible solutions to the city. The project should set examples to an urban renewal of the city, through a social awareness campaign involving the whole town.

After knowing each teacher the first day, all the teachers started to think about all the possibilities to carry out during the mobility with students, mainly the topics to implement with them. Then, there was a guided tour through the new artistic interventions, and a meeting at Bilboarte which is a center of artistic production, dependent on the Culture Area of City Council. The main objective of Bilboarte is to provide an outstanding professionalization of artists by offering modern equipment and infrastructures. During the next days, the teachers visited the other museums in Bilbao:

  • Guggenheim museum which allows us to learn about the history of the Guggenheim Museum and explore the modern art it houses, and to admire the impressive architecture of the building designed by Frank Gehry considered one of the most important architectural works of his time.
