Arrival of Partner Teams to Porto

​

Between the 25 th and 26 th January all partner teams arrived to Porto airport.

​

▪ The Italian team arrived on the 25 th January at 18:25.

▪ The Icelandic team arrived on the 26 th January at 15:15.

▪ The Spanish team arrived on the 26 th January at 21:30.

REPORT ST’ART WEEK – PORTO

Monday, 27 th January, 2020

​

All partner teams (students and teachers) took part in the reception held at EMP at 10:00. All teams visited the school facilities and had the chance of presenting themselves, their schools and cities.

The project team at EMP organized and ice-breaker activity and did the presentation of the activities to be done during the mobility week.

​

In the afternoon an Opening ceremony was held in the headquarters of the Bonfim Municipality. In the presence of the school community and representatives from the Oporto City Hall and the Bonfim Municipality. Students from all partner teams presented the proposals for “ilhas” they had previously prepared in the preparatory CLIL lesson. After that PhD Jorge Ricardo Pinto, professor and investigator at ISCET delivered a lecture on “Ilhas Urbanas”, followed by a question-answer session.

Tuesday, 28 th January, 2020

​

All partner teams met at school and together visited and did a guided tour of Mauro Cerqueira’s Art Gallery, in downtown Porto and visited the Municipal Gallery.

​

In the afternoon the did had a guided tour and did photographic records of Ilhas Urbanas, in Bonfim.

​

Wednesday, 29 th January, 2020

​

All partner teams met at school and together visited and did a guided tour of Casa da Música (The Music House) followed by a guided tour To Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art.

​

In the afternoon the partner teams took part in several Technical Workshops featuring different creative techniques for manual intervention in photographies at Escola de Moda do Porto.

Thursday, 30 th January, 2020

​

On Thursday the 28 th the partner teams took part in several Technical Workshops featuring different creative techniques for manual intervention in photographies at Escola de Moda do Porto and prepared the final works to be displayed at the final exhibition.

​

Friday, 31 st January, 2020

​

The Opening of the Final Exhibition of works was held in Junta de Freguesia do Bonfim in the morning. There was a collaborative coffee-break where all partner teams shared food specialties from their countries of origin. All participants had the afternoon free to visit the city.
